Alright, here's the second one, this time not as dark as the first, though not exactly bright as well.

It's the story of John's Lost Weekend, in full circle.

Short sidenote: pay attention to the guitar solo in the 74 version of Hard Times Are Over, it's David Spinozza, but it's quite obvious where he took inspiration for that guitar sound from. Oh Lord!

Enjoy!

There aren't that many such collages to come, and I'm at the moment trying to think of good themes for the few next ones. If you have any periods/events of John's life, that you would like to see shaped into podcast like this one has been, feel free to ask!

This is an attempt at using various bits and pieces from the tremendous body of work, that John & Yoko left behind, to create a sound and song collage, that relates to the events of december 8th 1980 and the time following it, solely from the perspective of John & Yoko. There are plenty further elements one could use in such a context, but I didn't want to exceed the 20 minute mark. Naturally, I had to use several Yoko tracks (don't worry, heavily edited), also because they express emotions in a very intense way, and they really work well, I think, so if you're not exactly a Yoko fan: be open minded, and just let the associations, that the collage can evoke, touch you. This is dedicated to the three virgins. ;o)
